In true Peruvian fashion, Mayu has knocked it out of the park. 10/10 across the board! Our server, Alexander, was the best- Attentive, thorough…all the things. Must-try: Jalea Imperial Rocoto Miso Cod Cocktails and mocktails (pisco blossom and Gocha 🔥) are amazing too! Can’t wait to visit again.
We had such a wonderful experience at Mayu thanks to our waiter, Alexander. He was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu perfectly — his recommendations were spot on! He made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal. The food was delicious, but Alexander’s exceptional service made the night unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for him again! Highly recommend!
A memorable dining experience and will definitely be back. Went for a business lunch and tried the classic ceviche, the Inca espresso martini, and the churrasco—everything was delicious and the service was also great. I love the decor and vibe of this place, too. Keep in mind, you will need to valet park unless you park further away on the street.
Had an amazing experience at Mayu Peruvian in Brickell. The food was super fresh, full of flavor, and came out quick. Big shoutout to José, our server — he was on point the entire night, super friendly, and made great recommendations. Perfect spot for a chill but high-quality dinner. Definitely coming back.
As a Peruvian, I’m very picky when it comes to Peruvian food, so I’m always hesitant to try new places. That said, MAYU completely exceeded my expectations. I ordered the **ceviche clásico (medio picante)**—a solid 10/10. My husband had the **skirt steak with anticucho sauce**, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the **Hotate Parma** and **Acevichero** sushi rolls. Both were delicious, but the Hotate Parma was hands down my favorite. While the food alone was outstanding, the service truly set this experience apart. **Alexander** was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, and we were also wonderfully taken care of by **Jonique** and **Ricardo**. Overall, the combination of exceptional food and top-tier service makes me believe that MAYU is absolutely pushing toward a future Michelin Star.
Absolutely superb experience at Mayu. wonderful service with Tenato who has been truly amazing and professional . Thank you to him for this delicious gastronomy escape. The service is outstanding, warm and attentive from start to finish. The oysters were honestly the best of my life – incredibly fresh and perfectly served. The ceviche was extraordinary, full of flavour and beautifully balanced. The desserts were stunning as well, both visually and taste-wise. The whole atmosphere is refined, cosy and truly enjoyable. The sushi is not the strongest point of the menu, but everything else on this beautiful card is exceptional and absolutely worth ordering. I genuinely recommend exploring the rest of the dishes — they are spectacular.

My boyfriend and i came here on valentines and it was beautiful. we had a reservation at 8 but we were late (very late!) due to traffic and the host was very understanding despite it being valentine’s day. Get the Guava and cheese drink it’s so good. Also our waiter was Alexander and he was fabulous. He was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend this place. Food was yummy: Lomo Saltado and the sushi roll with truffle in it. So yum.

We had a really nice night at mayu! Our first time here. We had tiradito, ceviche, the octopus, lomo saltado, different cocktails and dessert. Everything looked like a piece of art and tasted so good. Very good portions for the price. We’re definitely coming back. This place should be packed every day.
